Enermatics Energy is an Energy Services Company (Esco).
Enermatics works with municipalities and large industrial customers on Demand Side Management (DSM) projects.
The purpose of DSM is to reduce the energy demands of municipalities and industry.
Enermatics has developed an energy efficiency and load management solution (Wattkeeper solution) which uses a smart GSM meter as remote sensor, a comprehensive backoffice system which includes interfaces to billing systems and a web based application for the control room.
The various technology components of the system were developed locally and have been available since the early nineties.
These system components were used in other electronic monitoring solutions.
The total energy efficiency and load management solution integration was conceived in 2005.
