What is Infotech’s Core Business?
At the risk of sounding like an economist, this question has two answers, and the appropriate answer depends on the point of view of the person asking the question.
Should the question be posed by a prospective client or user of our technology, the answer would be as follows:
“Infotech is focused on developing telemanagement Solutions. These Solutions are typically used by companies that have the need to monitor and control remote events in their business environment.“
Should the question be posed to an investor or an interested party that wishes to understand how the company makes it’s money, the answer would be as follows:
“Infotech is focused on making investments in the ICTE sector that have a low initial financial exposure and high potential financial reward.“
Tell me a bit more about your Products?
"Infotech does not sell a standard, off-the-shelve product. Our offering to our client is a technology platform, adapted to the client’s specific requirements, that comprises of the system components defined above in a variety of combinations, in order to deliver a solution that remotely monitors and controls a client’s assets. These assets might be mobile or stationary and might be human, animal, or machine. We refer to this Solution as a Telemanagement Solution."
How can I become an Agent or a Distributor for Infotech's products?
"The nature of the Infotech Telemanagement offering is quite technical, and the maintenance and operation of the Solution requires a client with a sophisticated IT infrastructure and IT staff. Furthermore, operational staff must be permanently on duty to monitor the system’s incoming information, take action as prescribed by the system when events are triggered, and also draw management information on a regular or scheduled basis as defined by the client. Direct interaction between the operational staff of the client and Infotech’s support staff is therefore essential. Consequently, Infotech strongly prefers, to the point of insisting, to have a direct relationship with the end users or clients of our Telemanagement Solution."
I see that Infotech starts new businesses. I have a good idea and need an investment, can Infotech help me financially and who should I talk to?
Infotech is not a venture capital company in the true sense of the word, one that accepts proposals from entrepreneurs and decides on whether to invest or not. Our investment process is very specifically tied into our Technology Roadmap, which governs our technical Research and Development direction and leads us to new business opportunities supported by our technology.
However, certain of the associated companies in the group might from time to time consider purely financial investments. Requests in this regard can be forwarded to the responsible director.
